LAANC
Low Altitude Authorization and Notification Capability — the FAA’s automated system that grants near-instant authorization to fly in controlled airspace, through apps like Aloft or DJI Fly.
You request a location and ceiling (say, 200ft over the listing), and approval typically arrives in seconds.
Why it matters for your listings
LAANC turned "can’t fly there" into a 30-second app tap. Every certificated agent should have an approved LAANC app installed before their first controlled-airspace listing.
