Hook
The first 1–2 seconds of a video — the words on screen, the opening line, the first frame — whose only job is to stop the scroll and open a curiosity loop.
Hooks are formats, not one-liners: curiosity gaps, price shocks, contrarian takes, local pride. The same lever reloads with every new listing.
Why it matters for your listings
Nothing else in your video matters if the hook fails; the algorithm never shows the rest. Fixing hooks is the single highest-ROI edit an agent can make.
